2011 Polaris Rzr

These buggies are a blast to drive.  Long Travel Articulating suspension let them fly over, bumps, jumps, dunes at speed and land like a soft pillow catching you.

This particular Rzr was at auction listed as not-running with no other damage.  Upon arrival it was found the engine would not turn over and was seized.  Disassembly of the engine block revealed catastrophic rod bearing failure.

The 900cc and 1000cc engines share the same block utilizing different length crankshafts, rods, and piston height.  Having to perform a rebuild, this was a perfect opportunity to increase displacement. (Stroker)

I sourced an xp1000, crank, rods, pistons and new bearing shells.  The oil pump was also replaced cause we don't know why this seized in the first place.  Cylinder head, block was cleaned measured, reused and fuel injectors were sourced from an xp1000 to compensate for the increase in displacement.
